Butterflies & Camping

I recently went to Tally for a Dentist appt and I saw this butterfly in front of Mom's house so I snapped a few shots and her neighbor thought I was really weird.

Also, I just went camping with Dad and got to see some of my siblings.
Here is the fire Dad made and then we made smores on it.

A loved them, well and me too! :) And Pamella below
This was a boat going across the bay that was by Dad's campsite, it had tons of x-mas lights on it.

Her is the handsome Buddy Boy!
We went on a nature trail at St. Andrew's too and A loved it, she was our little Explorer.

K was having a good time to on Mommy's back

A took this one just like she did on Pamella's camera and she did a great job.

I held this out in front of us and I am surprised how good it turned out and that you can actually see all of us.

It was fun times! I know I have not blogged in a while so I will try to sooner next time!

Jacksonville Trip

A few weekends ago Sean & I went to Jacksonville for our 4 year Anniversary. This is a pic of the bridge & I just liked how the colors of the light were reflected in the water.
We went to St. Augustine one day which was so fun, I just love walking around in all the neat shops. Sean is irish and we went into a little irish shop and I found a magnet with his last name so his family crest and he thought I was super corny for buying it. We met up with some of our friends there and ate dinner.

We also took a walk on the beach, which was so nice and although it was like 90 degrees the breeze made it feel like 70 but only while on the beach. I have not blogged in a while so I figured it was about time. I actually just got back from a business trip in New Orleans where I learned a ton of info and I learned just how quick the holidays come in retail, Ha Ha!

4th of July & Art

I went to Pamella's for the 4th of July and we walked to the beach across the street from her new house and watched some fireworks. Taking pics of them was fun and I love this one, it turned out really cool and sort of looks like a funky flower.
Pamella took this one with my camera and it is so crisp and clear.

This is my favorite one that I took because I just love that I got one of the blue ones.

Looks like an explosion!

Here is the sparklers queen. We did tons of these because Aislynn could not get enough. It was so awesome to see how excited she gets about stuff and she kept saying this is so magnificent, ha!

A bunch of festive girls in our red, white, and blue.

Kieran and mama sporting some beads and cool glasses!

Aislynn as a little rockstar, ha she is such a trip. Oh and by the way Pamella, I love your new house!

We went for a walk on the beach the day before the 4th and I took this then of Shaun and Kieran and we ate at a place called Flip Flops and Aislynn said we should eat there because we were all wearing flip flops, hee hee!

Back in May I went to a private paint class at my friend Tracy's house and we painted a girl and we were joking about it the other day and she said our girls looked like avatars.

This is one of my new favorites and I went to a wine tasting/art class at a place called Wine is all Pleasure, it was fun and it turned out really cool.

New Car

I guess you can say that I went through my mid-life crisis early, ha ha! I traded my Altima in & got this Toyota FJ Cruiser. The day I got my Altima 2.5 years ago I actually went there to look at an FJ Cruiser but I talked myself into getting the Altima instead. So I have wanted one of these for a while & I wanted some excitement in my life so I guess here I go! It is way bigger then my little Altima but I love it! It has 47,000 miles on it!
Here is a glimpse of the inside, there is 5 seats!

The steering/radio!
The front!
The back and yes I finally got an AL license plate so now I am a true Alabamian, :( Ha!
It has a nice roof rack too in case we ever got a kayak or something. The trunk is huge too! Well, that is it for now I just wanted to share my spontaneous side.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens

The other day I went to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and it was beautiful and very hot. They have so many neat flowers and the best part about the park is that it is free! I love the center of this flower, super cool.

Another neat flower! People thought I was really wierd because I was getting on my hands and knees and taking my time getting the perfect shot, hee hee!

This flower was my favorite because it is just so crazy yet beautiful!

I am fascinated with the inside centers of flowers, can you tell?

A Lovely Rose!

This flower was really neat too and there was some sort of voting contest for whoever grew it.

They also had all sorts of cool cacti

I like this one because it looks like a shamrock

A close up of Mr. Bee eating lunch!

This huge rock looks like part of a face.

There was a section that was Japanese inspired and it had neat architecture and a pond with Japanese fish.

I was waiting for these neat blue dragonflys to land and trying to get close to it without it flying a way. It took a while but these turned out pretty cool.

I liked this one the best!

Here it is in black & white which I thought looked really awesome! Well, that is it for now!

Las Vegas Trip

So I know this post is really overdue because we went a month ago but here are some pics from our Vegas trip. This is by the famous sign.
This is after I lost some money & sponge bob was trying to comfort me, hee hee.

In the Paris casino there was this gorilla and every time we passed I made every one give it dap.

Here is a pic of Sean, me, Steffanie, & Zack with our funny drinks.

Me & Sean
Sean & I at night with Eifel tower in background.

Me!

The statue of liberty at the New York Casino

We saw the Bellagio fountains many times!

We saw this sign on the way to Hoover Dam, ha!

We got to stand between two states at once, Arizona & Neveda.

This was at the top of Hoover Dam & that is the new bridge they are building, it is sooooo huge!

Looking across & down at Hoover Dam, so neat!

Looking down at the dam! The trip went by too quick but it was lots of fun! We also went and saw a hypnosis comedian which was really funny & entertaining and we bet on some horse races at the sports book which was fun. I picked my horses based on name only, if they had a unique name I picked them & you'd be surprised how many times I chose the right one.
