Aislynn's Recital & Kieran's 1st Birthday Party

A few weeks ago I went to Pamella's for Aislynn's first dance recital. Look how cute that little ballerina is. She was def the best in the class by personality alone, one of the only kids smiling & having fun the entire time, loved it.
My favorite girl & I

I love those big eyes!

I was also there for Kieran's first birthday! It seems like Pamella just called me the other day in the middle of the night saying I think this is it, ha!
Love the hat & shirt you got him Pamella. He sure did love that cake as much as I did, hee hee!

Here is a pic of mommy and K and he is drinking out of this really cool cup I got him that he can hold up himself.
Sean & I, Sean has had a mustache for about a month and a half but he finally just shaved it off which made me super happy.

It was so good to see all my siblings, I miss hanging out with them. We had a fun goofy time when the kiddos went to sleep.

Do we look like gansters or what? I'm sporting Kieran's new summer hat & Pamella is rocking Aislynn's sun glasses.

Here is a normal shot of the girls! I know I haven't been posting in forever but hopefully now I will stop being so lazy and my next post will be about my Vegas trip which was a month ago!
Chow for now!

AL Nature

The other day I was walking to GoodYear to pick up my car after having the A/C fixed and these trees are every where. They have little white flowers on them and the petals cover the ground from all the wind, but these particular trees are in the front of my neighborhood.
On Easter I din't have to work till 5pm to unload a truck so I went to check out Oak Mountain State Park and it was awesome. They have a golf course, horseback riding, a beach (haha it has sand and lake water to swim in but it was still pretty cool), lots of hiking trails, mountain top views, camping and picnic areas. you can also rent canoes and paddle boats. But this is a pic I took while hiking on one of the trails ( next time I will be able to go further if I don't where flip flops (what can I say I'm a florida girl!)

This was at the very top of a mountain. I felt like I was driving forever to get there because the roads literally wind around and are not very wide and you can only go like 15mph ( it was kind of scary when another car was going the opposite way because I was like on the very edge and then to look over, hee.
The long drive up the mountain was worth it though, look how pretty. I think the next time Sean comes we may go eat lunch up there. Lots of people had chairs and were just hanging out up there with their families, it was cool.

more moutain top pics
On my walk on one of the trails they had all different kinds of owls and hawks. This little guy below was too cute every where I went his eyes followed me and I thought I was alone so I was talking to him and I saw a man not too far away sitting on a bench and I felt really silly, ha!
Hopefully next time I go I will have someone here to share it with. I hope every one had a Happy Easter!

A Visit at Dad's

A few weeks ago I went to visit Dad and we went to the shooting range. It was fun and we both need some more practice. We took a video too that shows the kick back from the gun but there was an error when I tried posting it so maybe I'll post it once I figure out how. Here is just some cows we saw leaving the range.
A pic dad took of me in action.
A close up and Dad was making me laugh because he wanted me to say Fire when I was going to shoot but that made me laugh and I lost concentration when I tried saying it, ha.
Dad in action!
I love this pic of Dad!
A silly pic of me in my ear and eyes protection.
Then this past weekend Pamella and the kids and I went to see Dad and I took these pics of Kieran in his play pen, soooooooooo sweet.

I love those beautiful eyes and that sweet smile. It was great seeing yall, miss you already.
I also went to another art class a few weeks ago and I painted this girl on the beach. The colors turned out really amazing and they blended together very well. That's it for now more soon to come. :)

Hoover & Art Catch Up

Well as you all know by now, I accepted a promotion and I am officially living in Hoover, AL which is basically Birmingham and I am the store manager of World Market here. I am just about settled finally but I am loansome for Sean, who should move here in hopefully a month. This is kind of a long catch up post. Anyhow, here is a pic at a lake I found near my new home.
Here are some turtles at the lake. I just thought this pic was cool because of the twig branches over the water.

Here are some geese at the lake. They actually get really close to you. I took Sean here once when he came to visit and we were sitting on a bench and there were a few ducks swimming in the water in front of us and they got out of the water and literally came right up to our feet. They were so cute I really wanted to pet one but I was scared it would bite me, hee hee. Of course at the time I didn't have my camera with me, but it was really neat.

Also, a few weeks ago it snowed and I was super psyched. I thought this was a really neat shot because you can actually see it falling

I took this outside the back of my work and that is the top of our compactor that has the snow on it.

A shot up against the compactor so you could see the actual snow drops falling

The girls at work made me a mini snowman on my car. This is not it though because I found this one on a car in my neighborhood and it was better than the one they made me so I took a pic.

This was in my back yard!

There is this place called sip and strokes where you can paint and drink your own wine. So I went here once and painted this sunflower and gave it to Mom for her birthday since she loves sunflowers so much.

Last week I went again and painted this guitar for Sean. He she it was one of my best. I just love the colors, they taught me how to blend colors to make it look cool by going from one color to the next and it flows really neat.
Then a few few days ago Sean came to see me and I convinced him to go to sip and strokes with me and his painting ended up being better than mine, no fair. So I told him he wasn't allowed to go with me anymore, but I was joking. This one is mine! It is a funky tree but my branches got way to gnarly and I over corrected too many times and now it just looks so silly.

Here is Sean's and he was a perfectionist and his turned out really good. He enjoyed it and wants to go again sometime. The only bad thing about it is our paitings will be similar but our own styles will make it different I guess. This is so much more motivating because I don't have to clean up some huge mess like when I paint at home. Well, thats it for now, hopefully I will post more often then every 3 months, ha!

I got to go home for Turkey day and all the kids were there! We ate at Pammy's and we had a blast. Here is a pic of the boys after a nice filling meal.
Uncle Andrew finally got to meet his nephew so here is him, Jessica and Kieran

There must have been something in the turkey we ate, ha, gobble gobble.

The kids!
My little buddies and I. They are my pride and joy!

Birmingham

Hi, I know it has been a while since I posted so I figured I would. I think this may be the first time ever that I don't have any pictures to post which makes me sad. Anyhow, things are going good even though I've been working long hours because we are getting so busy because of the holidays but it's nice to work in a busy store. I have not got to explore yet but as I discovered this place called sip and strokes where you can go and drink wine and paint, which are 2 things I enjoy doing so hopefully some day soon my schedule will permit me to attend on one of the nights that they will be painting something that interests me. I have been so bored without Sean to talk to when I get home from work everyday and I have been eating weight watchers tv dinners and am sick of them. So tonight I thought i'd splurge so I just ordered a pizza from papa john's, hee hee. Hopefully I will have some pics to post from Thanksgiving next week. Love ya all!

More Vegas Photos

I think this may be my longest post ever but I just couldn't help myself with the hundreds of photos I took. I got my film back so here they are. Most of the pics look clearer when you click on them to see them bigger.
Another photo from the car museum. This is my new red jacket that I bought in Vegas because it was so windy and cold.

Just being goofy!
Sean took this at the Palazzo Casino, very festive fall decorations there.

More pics from the valley of fire!

They call it Valley of Fire because of the red that is every where in the rocks.

Beautiful!

Just thought these rocks were cool.
Sean was like a little kid or a monkey, he wanted to climb everything and he got pretty high in some spots.

I just like the different colors of sandstone in this pic. One valley had all diffrent colored sandstone and they called it rainbow rock!

Another pic of elephant rock.

Here is a pic I took from the street of the eifle tower and you can see the moon too.

I also took this from the street when the fountains were going at the bellagio.
I am so depressed because I ran out of film so I spent $10 on one roll of film to use at the top of the eifle tower in Paris casino and the whole was so small that my flash kept hitting the top and it reflected of the gate and wrecked the majority of the pics, I guess that's the bad thing about film, you cna't look at them to see problems like this, boo :(

I took this with my film cam too!

While we were at the top of eifle tower the Bellagio fountains went on again but everyone was hogging the holes so I finally got in one for about one sec and I got this really cool shot, minus the reflection. Too bad I couldn't have had more time and got even better ones, but next time.

I thought this pic was really cool, it almost looks photo shopped but its not Sean said take a pic while I jump off the rocks and it looks like he was way higher than he really was. Plus he has his tongue stuck out, kind of funny. You should def click this one to look at it bigger Sean's face is hillarious!

More cool formations.

Just a good pic off Seany boy

These were the bee hive rocks!

Here is my monkey climbing again, this isn't a very clear pic but you can see how high he got.

Sean

This is before we got into the valley of fire park, I made Sean pull over like every mile, hee hee!

I just thought this pic was kind of cool!

This was one of my favorite spots at the park!
