Wind Surfers

I finally got my pics back and they did not turn out at all like I thought but you can get an idea of how cool it was to watch the wind surfers at the beach that day. There was 3 of them and they were doing really cool tricks in the air. Again, I used my 300mm lens on my film camera and these did not come out to clear but they were really really far away too.
Just thought this was a cool wave detail pic.

Here is a close up shot I got of one of them in the air. Some of them were so talented that they could actually do a flip in the air and flip their board completely around and land back on it in the water, very cool to watch!

Crab

Here is my latest painting! What a silly crab! Nothing much going on right now except work because my boss was out for a while for surgery and I have been having to work like 12 hour shifts and we have visitors coming today and tomm so I've been a busy little bee. I hope everything is going well for everyone and I took some really cool pics of these wind surfers last week doing tricks in the sir so hopefully they will turn out okay. I used my film camera and put my 300mm lens on so I could get them kinda close up so now I just gotta go get it developed so I can see how they turned out. I'm very jealous of your camera Pammy! Dad's Visit

Today was Dad's last day in FL visiting so him, Pamella, Aislynn, & Kieran came over and we went swimming and then to Chick Fil A. We didn't have anyone to take a pic of the 3 of us so I held the camera out in front of us and this was the best one, hee hee.

Here is an adorable pic I got of Kieran smiling. That smile is just to die for!

When Aislynn and I were walking back from the pool we saw 2 butterflies but I only got a pic of one. She said wow that butterfly sure is exquisite which is a fancy word for beautiful. That came from her Fancy nancy book, ha she is so funny.

I'll never forgive myself for this because I am a nole but here is a pic of the gator emblem that I painted for Andrew for his birthday that is coming up. I thought it looked more like a dinosaur than a gator but it still turned out really well I think.

Here is a pic that I painted for Dad from an old photograph that he sent me. It was of a tree in the middle of a dune on the beach and then I added my own special effects to the sky to make it more dramatic.

I went to Aislynn's 4th Birthday this past Saturday and it was a princess party and A just loved it. Here is her beautiful delicious cake that Pammy made.

They played pin Cinderella on the castle and we didn't have a blind fold so they used A's little apron, ha ha!

Here are some of the crowns that we made and I wore mine the entire time and had some sort of reaction to the styrafoam (I have no idea how to spell that :) ) and it left a red line across my forehead for like 2 days but is now finally gone. Happy Labor Day! That's it for now!

Stewie

Sean and I live next to a zoo so when we drive by it we always see this giraffe and he is so cute and as a joke Sean named him Stewie so I thought it would be funny for our 3 year anniversary to paint him a picture of Stewie the giraffe. He liked it!

Here is a pic of peanut I took the other day in the car and the only way I could get her to actually look at the camera and smile was when she put her fake ice cream cone on her head so that is what she is doing here.

Here is a pic I took of Kieran when Pamella and I took Aislynn to the fountains to play. I love him in green and I like how he looks like he is concentrating or something. I'm sure you've seen it on Pammy's blog but we ate dinner with our old step sister Jessica the other night and we had a blast. It was really neat to see how much she has grown up and I look forward to seeing her again. I'm am going to New Orleans this week for a work trip which should be pretty fun or at least better than being in the store. I caught a shoplifter at work today which was really cool and a big adrenaline rush, hee hee. Talk to you soon!

My First Black Eye

A few weeks ago Phillip and Josh came to visit in PC and we went to eat at TGI Fridays to see Sean working and here is a pic Sean took and you can see my black eye here. For those of you that don't know I was building a fixture at work and the drill backfired and completely spun around and the base of it hit me on the cheekbone right under my eye. This was after a few days so you can see that it was much worse than what it looks like in the pic. I got xrays and no fractures so that was a relief and now it is finally gone.

One night Sean and I went to dinner with Pammy, Shaun, Aislynn and Kieran and we walked out on this deck and the sun was just getting ready to go down and I took a pic of the 4 of them.

Sean's Mom's Visit

Sean's Mom came to visit last week and one day we went and picked up peanut and took her to the fountains so she could play. Look at the smiling face!
She had a blast!

We took his mom to biloxi for one night too. That was fun she won like $40 and was super excited about it. This pic of Sean and I was taken at the Hard Rock Casino.
